As many people, you might think that musical talents are rare. But they are not. They are very often just simply overlooked, undeveloped, and unfulfilled. We are all born with the desire to make music. Playing the piano is inspiring, relaxing, enriching, and rewarding experience that helps you expresses your feelings, emotions, dreams, and fantasies at any age. The sense of personal satisfaction and pleasure that comes from playing the piano just gets better as your musical technique develops with time.

Even if playing the piano is not the ultimate goal you have for your child, the basic skills and techniques learned from piano lessons will develop useful experiences in many areas of life. With a piano lessons, children achieve new skills and open a new world of options and opportunities that enrich their lives. Learning to play piano develops the abstract thinking, problem-solving, time management, and listening skills of children as well as add to the child's confidence and self-esteem.

It demands a lot of discipline, patience, and tedious work of practicing, but when the experience is positive it will result in a lifetime of enjoyment and appreciation of good music. As many others, they find hard and persistent work develops a "CAN DO!" attitude. Learning to play piano is also a lot of fun. Ability to play piano, make and hear music offers long lasting rewards.

I have a deep passion for music and this is the reason why my goal is to help young people discover their love for the piano. I try to maintain a warm-hearted spirit in my studio so that as we learn and work together, there is a feeling of support and motivation for each student. Many adults have a desire to play piano as well. Or perhaps they took lessons as a child and want to refresh their memories. Or they play piano but would like to learn additional skills such as playing chords, improvisation, or just improve their skill. Adult learning methods are approached differently then those associated with children. For those that are just wanting to learn to play, I work with them so that they can play for their enjoyment and relaxation.

If you have a high-speed internet connection and a piano and/or keyboard, lessons can be arranged so that you may learn in the comfort of your own home rather then fighting traffic and parking problems associated with going to a studio. This is also good for anyone living outside the New Orleans LA area. I must remind those in other countries of the time difference between the United States and Europe, Asia, and Australia.
